VestaRelief Resource partners provide kind and valuable services to survivors and victims of natural and man-made disasters. They are organizations will to step to help people get their lives back from the edge of utter hopelnessness. Our Resource Partners are the life blood of our service.

VestaRelief is designed to be a "pass-through" entity for global solidarity. Once our core operational requirements are met, surplus funds generated by our Pay-It-Forward model are redistributed back into the field:

Direct-to-Impact Grants: Surplus funds flow directly to our nonprofit partners who are active within the network and providing verified services via the HSDS standard.

Rewarding Integrity: By acting as a grant provider, VestaRelief incentivizes data transparency. Nonprofits that maintain real-time, accurate resource feeds for survivors are prioritized for funding, ensuring that the most helpful organizations have the most resources.

By turning survivors and allies into stakeholders, VestaRelief transforms disaster response from a series of "one-off" charitable acts into a permanent, self-sustaining piece of Global Digital Public Infrastructure. We ensure that when the next flood comes, the "Hearth" is already built, the light is already on, and the path home is already clear.

VestaRelief works with worldclass partners who maintain networks of nonprofits. All original listing data is from public sources like the United States Government Public Databases, organizations that aggregate nonprofit information and suggested listings from users. Our listings are either maintained locally in our systems, or gathered in real-time via interactive searches (also known as APIs).

Getting started is simple. Go to Search for VestaRelief Resources, and if your organization appears and noted as a Public Resource, you may “Claim Ownership” of your organization and Verify it. Click on the Public Record button. If your email address matches the organization’s domain name, you can start the process of claiming your listing. While claiming it, the button will change to Pending Verification and no one can claim it. Once verified, the button changes to Verified.

As a Resource Partner, we hope you will keep your organization information current. You may also optionally provide as much detail of your operations and services including real-time inventory of goods available.

We believe in the wisdom of the crowd with active crowdsourcing (The Thumbs-Up/Down/X Rating)

Users may make a conscious choice to contribute their opinion with a thumbs up or down rating. They may also select an “X” to remove your listing from their personal list. By aggregate-voting on Resource Partners, the crowd collectively filters out bad actors and highlights trustworthy resources without needing a central moderator to audit every single business.

VestaRelief’s platform has adopted the Open Referral.org standards for data exhange including The Human Service Data Specification (HSDS): AKA ‘the Open Referral format,’ HSDS enables resource directory data to be published in bulk for use by many systems. We also offer simple spreadsheet upload options and access to your information via web for manual updates. Our only goal is good information for people with challenging priorities.

VestaRelief is a charitable 501c3 organization, and as such, we raise money through corporate and individual donors. Our platform and services are always free, and always available.
