What began as a passion project has evolved into something more.
VestaRelief: Keep the light on.
When disasters strike, the primary barrier to recovery is often a "fractured hearth": a chaotic environment where relief data is siloed across incompatible systems. VestaRelief addresses this by implementing the Open Referral Health and Human Services Data Standard (HSDS). This technical framework acts as a "Digital Hearth," consolidating essential recovery data into a single, reliable ecosystem.
Our primary activities include:
Entity Verification: We maintain a database of verified "Organizations" (such as the Red Cross or local churches) to prevent fraud and ensure survivors reach legitimate aid.
Identify Verification: We verify disaster victims identify in order to prevent fraud and provide known people with valuable services.
Agentic Engine: We ground our AI approach with enhanced property and resource data to optimizing victims time and needs.
Service Matching: We provide precise, real-time resource matching of victim needs to "Services" (food, shelter, clothing, medical care) with specific "Locations," ensuring survivors have a clear path to reliable support.
Realtime Informatics: Collecting and mapping situational data (disaster type, victim needs and location) we offer realtime dashboard for national disaster relief.
My Hearth: A place from which to coordinate recovery, post to message boards, send messaging, securely store files and keep a list of resources and comments.
